Shopping with us is simple! Just follow these four easy steps:

  1. Browse & Add to Cart: Find the item you love, select your size, and click the "Add to Cart" button.
  2. Proceed to Checkout: When you're ready, click the shopping cart icon and select "Checkout."
  3. Enter Your Details: Fill in your shipping and secure payment information.
  4. Place Your Order: Review your information and click the "Place Order" button to complete your purchase. You'll receive a confirmation email right after!

Sizing for traditional Indian attire can vary. To ensure the best fit, we have a detailed size chart available on each product page with measurements in both inches and centimetres. We highly recommend measuring yourself and comparing it to the chart before placing an order. If you are between sizes or need advice, please don't hesitate to contact us!

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex) and secure digital wallets like Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. All transactions are securely processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

Our pieces are crafted with care and often feature delicate embroidery or fabrics. To maintain their beauty, we generally recommend dry cleaning for our items. Specific care instructions can be found on the product description page for each garment.

We hand-pick our collections, and many items are unique or available in limited quantities. You can sign up for a restock notification on the product page, and we will email you if the item becomes available again. You can also follow our social media for updates on new arrivals and popular restocks!

If you need to cancel your order please contact us via our Contact Us page. Please keep in mind that we strive to process and ship orders the same day (if received before 1pm EST), and once the order has shipped you will be subject to our return policy.

We do our best to display the colours and details of our products as accurately as possible. However, please be aware that colours may vary due to photography lighting and individual screen settings.

We are proudly Canadian! All orders are packed with care and shipped from our base in Oshawa, Ontario.

Currently, we are focused on serving our wonderful customers within Canada. We do not offer international shipping at this time but hope to in the future!

We know you're excited to receive your order, and we work hard to get it to you as quickly as possible! Our shipping process consists of two stages:

1. Processing Time:
All orders are carefully packed and processed from our location in Oshawa, Ontario within 1-3 business days. Our business days are Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays.

2. Shipping Time:
Once your order is processed and handed to the carrier, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number. The time it takes for the package to arrive then depends on your location in Canada.

Here are the estimated shipping times after processing:

  • Within Ontario: 2-5 business days
  • Quebec & Maritimes: 5-8 business days
  • Western Canada & Territories: 7-12 business days

You can use the tracking number in your confirmation email to follow your package's journey and see the most accurate delivery estimate.

We are currently working on establishing a partnership with a local retailer in the Durham Region to offer a convenient pickup option for our local customers. While this service is not available just yet, we are excited to launch it in the near future!

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in its original condition: unworn, unwashed, unaltered, with all original tags attached, and in its original packaging. Items must be free of any stains, makeup, deodorant, or scents.

You will also need to provide your order number as proof of purchase.

To start a return, please contact us at return@lavanyaattire.ca. Please include your order number and the reason for your return.

If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label and detailed instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Your return will need to be sent to our location in Oshawa, OntarioThe cost of return shipping will be deducted from your final refund amount.

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval status. If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 5-10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.

Alternatively, you may request an exchange or a full refund in the form of store credit.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, provided it meets our return requirements. Once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

No problem, we're here to help! If you've ordered the wrong item, you can return it within 14 days of receipt as long as it meets our return conditions (unworn, unwashed, with tags). Please follow the instructions in the 'How do I start a return or exchange?' question above to begin the process.

We carefully inspect every item before shipping, but if you receive a product that is damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the order at return@lavanyaattire.ca.

To help us process your request quickly, please follow these steps:

  • Provide Order Details: Include your order number and the name of the item.
  • Describe the Issue: Clearly describe the damage or defect.
  • Include Photographic Evidence: Attach clear photos of the damaged item and the packaging it arrived in. This is essential for us to file a claim with the shipping carrier.

Upon reviewing your claim, we will provide one of the following solutions:

  • Replacement: We will provide a prepaid shipping label for you to return the damaged item and will ship a brand-new, identical replacement to you at no additional cost.
  • Refund: If a replacement is not available, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.

We will cover all shipping costs associated with returning the damaged or defective item and sending a replacement.

Yes, items purchased from our "Clearance" or "Sale" section, as well as certain accessories like jewelry, are considered final sale and are not eligible for returns or exchanges. This will be clearly marked on the product page.
